The board of directors held its regular meeting at the office of Tipmont REMC in Linden on December 20, 2011, beginning at 9:00am. All but one director were present along with Attorney Jeff Helmerick and CEO Tim McCarthy.

Attorney Helmerick presented RUS loan documents for final approval and officer signatures. Director Baker made a motion to accept the documents and for the officers to sign. The motion was seconded and carried.

The board of directors held its regular meeting at the office of Tipmont REMC in Linden on November 22, 2011, beginning at 9:00am. All directors were present along with Attorney Jeff Helmerick and CEO Tim McCarthy.

The agenda was relatively light for the month of November. CEO McCarthy discussed a partnering opportunity presented by our current material supplier, HD Supply. After discussion, the Board directed McCarthy to conduct further due diligence on the project.

The board of directors held its regular meeting at the office of Tipmont REMC in Linden, Indiana on September 27, 2011, beginning at 8:59am. All directors were present along with Attorney Jeff Helmerick and CEO Tim McCarthy.

In new business, Debbie Schavietello, manager of employee services, entered the meeting and discussed the decision to move the cooperative’s health insurance to NRECA in 2012. Meetings will be scheduled for all employees and retirees to enroll.

Corey Willis, manager of technology and communications, reported on the automation of business processes in member services. He also discussed the additional member calling capabilities to contact members with delinquent payments prior to having to take the action of disconnecting service.
